“I once appeared on the billboard for Jetty to Jetty fun run.”
Yep, that really happened! It still makes me smile thinking about it. I’ve always loved getting involved in fun community events, and I’m definitely the kind of person who will say yes to something a bit different, especially if it involves movement, laughter, and good people.

“After I had my two boys, my body changed… and over time I’ve learnt to accept it.”
After I had my two boys, my body changed in ways I wasn’t prepared for. Stretch marks and tummy fat I never had before, and nothing I did ever seemed to make any difference. At first I was ashamed, but over time I’ve learnt to accept it as something beautiful I gained from having my wonderful boys. I’ve even worn a bikini a few times.

“I’ve learnt people will judge anyway, so I speak my truth and dance.”
This one is really personal for me. I had social anxiety for most of my life, and I’ve had to work hard to move through it. Over time I’ve learnt that people will make up their mind about you no matter what you do, so you may as well be yourself. Smile, speak your truth, and yes… dance if you want to. Also, a glass of champers is always a celebration in my world, and it instantly puts me in a great mood.

“My favourite thing to do is take photos of sunrises while I’m running.”
Running is one of my favourite things, and early mornings are my happy place. There’s something so peaceful about being out while the world is still quiet. I love stopping to take photos of the sunrise, and I can happily listen to music for hours. It’s my reset button.

“Teaching aqua makes me happy, because I love seeing the ladies enjoying my classes.”
Teaching aqua aerobics is one of the best parts of my week. I love seeing the ladies having fun, laughing, and feeling more confident in the water. If I had to pick a place that feels like home to me, it would be Tallebudgera Beach. It’s where I feel most relaxed and it holds so many beautiful childhood memories. I also love being part of OceanRoad Swimwear, and seeing the posts of all the ladies looking so happy and confident. I’m honestly thrilled to be part of that too.
